1954 Oldsmobile F88 GM Motorama Concept Car

Before the Corvette in 1953 that non-GM Motorama show tour. It was full of beautiful cars ever dream of peace. In 1954, it contained the concept of sports from each of the GM brands, Chevrolet, Pontiac, Buick, Cadillac, and that one of the Oldsmobile. The concept of Rocket 1954 Oldsmobile F88 was the only one in existence. You may remember this car from Scottsdale Barrett-Jackson ends when it is sold for over $ 3,000,000.
For decades, nobody worried that the car is simply a collection of components crammed into wooden boxes. It was discovered and restored better than new condition. In 1954, the F-88 one of only two F-88 concept was built. There are rumors of a possible third car, but it's not confirmed and it is only one known to still exist. Today the car back on the screen as a "feature" car of the Gateway Colorado Automobile Museum in Colorado.
